Dr. Sabra Royer provides comprehensive naturopathic care with a focus on women’s health. She combines naturopathic principles with an evidence-based approach to address a wide range of concerns, including menopause and perimenopause, irregular periods, PMS, PCOS, fertility, hypothyroidism, Hashimoto’s, adrenal dysfunction, and mental wellness. She especially enjoys working collaboratively with patients—listening, offering insight, and developing care plans that are supportive, sustainable, and adaptable to each person’s changing needs.
She is especially passionate about supporting women through the transitions of perimenopause and menopause. She offers expertise in bioidentical hormone therapy and also utilizes non-hormonal therapies, depending on each individual’s needs and goals. She addresses common symptoms of menopause, such as hot flashes, vaginal dryness, fatigue, mood changes, and sleep disturbances, with a whole-person approach. Women tend to feel their best when all aspects of health are supported, so she works to address hormones while considering the broader context of their well-being.
With an understanding of the connection between hormones, stress, sleep, and emotional well-being, Dr. Royer also provides support for mood concerns such as anxiety, depression, and insomnia. Treatment options may include natural therapies, lifestyle tools, and medication when appropriate, tailored to each person’s needs and preferences. She is also certified in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), a highly effective treatment for chronic insomnia. When underlying medical conditions or functional imbalances contribute to sleep or mood issues, she works to identify and address these root causes.
Having grown up seeing a naturopathic doctor from a young age, Dr. Royer is honored to provide holistic and compassionate care to others. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Physiology from the University of Arizona College of Medicine. Her approach to care is grounded in a deep appreciation for the intricacies and complexities of the human body. She completed her Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine in 2015 at the National University of Natural Medicine, where she also completed a teaching residency.
